Proposal: Asexuality 201 group blog

What kind of content are you looking for? Some specificity would help people figure out if they’re interested.

Are you thinking of something like Feministe? Multiple authors, one site?

Yes, a single blog with a handful of authors.  Everything that falls under asexual discussion falls under the subject of this blog.  But it would fall more on the advanced side of things, in contrast to 101 spaces like AVEN.  Aside from these guidelines, writers decide their own content.

A few examples of possible topics:

  1. Deconstruction of problematic statements in the media or elsewhere.
  2. Theorizing on asexuality, attraction, romantic orientation, etc.
  3. Coverage of the academic study of asexuality.
  4. Thoughts on visibility and activism.
  5. Intersectional experiences.
  6. Commentary on asexual community drama.
